The 8th IEEE Workshop on the Electronic Grid (eGrid 2023) will be held on October 16th-18th, 2023 at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) - one of the leading Technical Universities in Germany. This workshop is jointly sponsored by IEEE Power Electronics Society (PELS) and IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES).
With the increasing applications of power electronics in the power grid, the two independent fields are becoming more closely integrated. The eGrid Workshop provides an international forum for academics and industry in the field of electronic grid to exchange information on their latest research ideas, progresses, developments, experiences, achievements, state-of-art technical trends, and applications. Keynote and panel speakers from industry and international labs will participate to the eGrid workshop, in order to provide to the audience an industrial-oriented vision of the current challenges and solutions for the energy system.
The previous eGrid workshops have been held with great success in Hefei China (eT&D 2016), Aalborg Denmark (eT&D 2017), Charleston USA (eGrid 2018), Xiamen China (eGrid2019), Aachen Germany (eGrid2020), New Orleans USA (eGrid 2021), and Auckland New Zealand (eGrid 2022). The conference papers will be indexed by EI and included in IEEE Xplorer.
